ASTRO SDQ
Tattoo convention — identity, campaign & event production
/ Context
ASTRO SDQ is a tattoo convention in the Dominican Republic. I've built its visual world across its four editions held so far (2023–2026) and the fifth, currently in development — the identity, the campaign that fills the room, and the physical pieces people wear, hold and walk past on event day. One system that has to work on a phone screen and on a 100-inch stage vinyl.

/ Challenge
A convention lives on two fronts. Weeks of digital communication have to announce artists and judges, explain schedules and sell tickets. Then a physical event where every printed piece has to be produced on time and on spec. The visual system had to hold up on both.
/ What I did
Identity
Edition marks like ASTRO Trilogy, seals, badges and the graphic language that carries each edition.
Communication
Artist and judge announcements, schedules, ticket info, reels and cover frames for social.
Motion & 3D
Logo animations, 3D loops, alpha-channel elements, artist reels and all the screen content used live during the event.
Production
Invitations and envelopes, wristbands, lanyards, judge dog tags, plaques, stage vinyls and large-format banners — prepared as print-ready files.
Trophies & ring
Design and art direction of the trophies and the champion ring; the 3D render was done by a supplier.
/ Physical event
The part most people don't see: turning the system into objects. Invitations, envelopes, dog tags, lanyards, plaques, stage vinyls and banners — each one with its own size, material and production spec.
/ Pieces
Guest kit
Envelopes and invitations for judges and special guests.
Judges
Dog-tag style credentials and presentation pieces for the judging panel.
Stage & venue
Stage vinyls, stand graphics and large-format banners.
